Gunners
14 Keystorm
Irish 13
The B semifinal was a closely contested game between the Gunners and the Keystorm Irish. Gunners
came out with a 14-13 victory. The Irish had a chance for the win, went for 2 and couldn't complete it.
Steve Craig Pettem threw to Brad CP and Brandon Stone in the win. Mike Landon hit Tyler Clemo and
Cheese in the loss.
Gunners
22 Woseley
Packers 21
The B final saw the Gunners take on the Woseley Packers. Another close game saw the final end up
22-21 in favour of the Gunners. Steve Craig Pettem ran in a score and hit Brad CP with a pass. The Self
Proclaimed B Final MVP Greg Cowan managed to get 2 interceptions, and lots of big catches.
Simon
Labett hauled in 2 tds, and
Noel Gottfried had one. Congrats to the Gunners for the B Championship.
Crusaders
15 Bobcats 12
A Semi Final # 1 matched up the Bobcats with an injured Matt McNish vs the Crusaders. McNish's injury
to his achilles seriously hurt his ability to create with his feet. Limited to pocket passing, they kept it close
but in the end, the Crusaders came out on top with the 15-12 win. Scott Moore had a TD and an INT and
Mark
Reilly ran in the other score for the Crusaders. Ty McNish
and Tim Hatfield each had TD's in the loss.
Toolmen 21
Dutchmen 13
The second semi final featured the high scoring Dutchmen taking on the high scoring Toolmen.
The Toolmen scored on the first drive and held off the Dutchmen for the 21-13 win. They were led by
Ryan Koolen's first of two great games on the day. Long clock consuming drives, no turnovers and big
clutch catches helped the Toolmen use up 13 minutes on the first drive of the second half. The Dutchmen
had a TD from Bart Rocuqe and a halfback pass from Colin Publow to Rob Fullarton completed the scoring
late in the game. Tim Millar and Cory Jones each had scoring
catches for the Toolmen.
Toolmen 21
Crusaders 13
The Championship game saw the #1 ranked Crusaders and the #2 Toolmen based on season long +-.
The top two scoring teams in the league expected to bring the excitement to the championship game.
A healthy and largely happy crowd witnessed the end of Mark Reilly's run for 3 in a row as the New Toolmen
beat the Crusaders 21-13. Ryan Koolen overcame some big drops by his receivers and hit Dan Belisle with
the first score of the game. The Toolmen took a 14 point lead into halftime with a long scoring pass to
Cory Jones. The second half started great for the Crusaders as they drove and Noopi Dhaliwal caught a
score from Mark Reilly despite the close defense of Koolen's mustache. The two teams went back and
forth before the Toolmen managed to get a 4th quarter catch from Cory Jones on a corner route that
left him unguarded. The Crusaders drove for a late TD on a spectacular catch by Noopi in the back of the
endzone.
The banquet was again a great event put on by the Keystorm
Pub. Details will be left out for those with
weak stomachs.
Week #9 Nov

Toolmen 21 Cowboys 12
Ryan Koolen
led the Toolmen to Championship Saturday with some
nice footwork and sharp passes.
RK ran in a TD to get the scoring
started and hit Colin Jardine and Ian Spear in win.
The Toolmen held
the Cowboys to very few long drives in the first half. Tim Wilson and
Tom Tobin split the passing duty.
Wilson connected with Micah Baerwold and Tom Lynch. Dave Bolger picked off 2
passes. Cory Jones
iced the game with an int as the Cowboys tried to comeback.
Dutchmen 26 Xmen 15
The Xmen
scored first but the Dutchmen scored more often. Luke Meppelder
hit Robbie Fullarton
twice and Bart Rocque for TD's.
Fullarton also had 2 picks in the game.
Jason Perkins over came a
pounding head to get 2 sacks on the quick XMen QB
including one that went for a safety. The Xmen
had TD's from Mike Lasalle on a crazy tip drill
after a pass was deflected by Fullarton, and a
scamper by
Scott kendall early in the first quarter.
Bobcats 23 Mothers 22
(Overtime)
The Bobcats overcame a 13 point deficit
in the 4th to stun the Mothers 23-22 in Overtime. The Bobcats
had a lengthy drive and score to start the fourth, held the Mothers deep in
their own end and tied the
game with 5 plays to go. The Mothers moved down the field and tried to
kick the game winning single
but it didn't make it. In OT, Mothers scored 1, Bobcats 1, Mothers
missed a 2pter, Bobcats scored a single
on a McNish run. Mothers converted a 2 pter to take the OT lead, but Bobcats went for a 2 and won
the game.
Scoring came from Ty McNish, Shane McNish and Tim
Hatfield from the Bobcats. For the Mothers, Steve Foley
ran in a TD, Spencer Alguire and Matt Huntley
caught td's from Foley. Trent Adams had 2 sacks.
Packers 13 1000 Islands Pizza
0
The Packers clinched the bye to the
finals of the B side with a dominant win over the 1000 Islands Pizza.
Despite
having half as many players, the key ones were there. Sam Moyse and Justin Caron caught TD's from Leigh Howard.
On the Pizza side, an excited and proud
Tony Stafford had a 2 yard punt return for his only gain of the season.
Crusaders 15 Ravens 14
In the final quarterfinal game, the
Crusaders held off a last second attempt by the Ravens to tie the game with a
single, and held on to the 15 14 win. The Ravens single attempt was
kicked back out of the endzone and a final
attempt at kicking it back in was blown down. Mark Reilly threw TD's to Noopi Dhaliwal and Mark Henry.

Mike Landon threw TD's to Wade Mooney,
Tyler Clemo and Kevin Perkins. KP also had 2 ints. Cody Smith had 3 sacks.

Week #7 Oct 20 2013
Dutchmen 24 Gabriel Pizza 0
The Dutchmen claimed first place in the Smith Baker Conference as a result of
their 24-0 win over Gabriel's Pizza.
Rob Fullarton played well enough to claim the
league scoring title with 2 receiving TD's and a pick 6. Gabriel's Pizza
will play the Bobcats
next week while the Dutchmen will get 1000 Islands Pizza.
Whistlin' Mothers 14 Bobcats 13
Spencer Alguire had both TD's for the Mothers as they
upset the Bobcats 14-13. As a result of this win, the Mother's
captured the Hoy Hone
conference title thanks to head to head wins. The Bobcats
claim 2nd in the division. Ty McNish
and Tim Hatfield had
td's in the loss.
Toolmen 33
Xmen 12
The Toolmen's 33-12 win over
the first place Xmen allowed them to jump the XMen in the standings and get 2nd place.
Cory Jones played against the team that drafted and traded him in the
preseason, and made it count. Jones had 3 ints,
one for a TD as well
as 2 other TD's. Tim Millar had a pair to touchdowns. Scott Kendall ran one in
and hit Kevin Wylemans
for the other score. Toolmen get the Gunners in the cross over round and the Xmen get the Packers.
Crusaders 27 Gunners 12
Mark Reilly led the team to the top scoring differential of the season but ends
up 3rd in the division. The 27-12 win
over the Gunners kept
them at 5-2. Kevin Harper had 2tds, Noopi Dhaliwal 1td and Mike O'Reilly 1td in the win.
The Gunners had another rushing Td from Steve Craig-Pettem
and a catch by Brandon Stone. The Gunners face the
Toolmen, while the
Crusaders get the Keystorm Irish.
Cowboys 25 Keystorm Irish 6
Tim Wilson led the Cowboys, throwing 4 tds on the
day. Adam McNish caught 2, Scott Maycock
and Tom Lynch 1 each.
Kevin Perkins threw to Tyler Clemo for the lone Irish
score. The Cowboys get to face the young Ravens next week.
Keystorm will matchup with
the Crusaders.
Packers 25 1000 Islands Pizza 7
Simon Labett coming off his National Touch Football
championship had 3 ints and a TD for the Pack. Noel
Gottfried had
2 TD catches and a pick 6 to complete his high scoring season. Big Red
Cowan had 2 sacks. Mike Stafford once again
caught his team's lone
TD. The Packers will face the Xmen next week and 1000
Islands Pizza have the tough task of facing
Meppeldullarton.

Ravens 0
Not much to report, other than history was made. Nittany
Lions get to face the Mother's next week and the Ravens
meet the Cowboys.

Gabriel Pizza
won their first game of the season and clinched 5th place in the Smith Baker
Conference with a 23-13 win
over the Nittany Lions.
Chris Michel led the way throwing for and catching a TD. Ryan
Billings had 2 TD's and
Steve White
threw one as well. Shane Belanger had 2 sacks. Nittany
Lions managed to score a couple TD's on passes
from Josh Parsons to Loan Duong. Nick Tobin
had 3 sacks for the Lions.
Whistlin' Mothers 33 1000 Islands Pizza

The Mothers
held on to beat 1000 Islands Pizza 33-31 in a high scoring matchup. Will
Clarke continued his scoring
rampage with 2 TD's. Wade Zanchetta,
Trent Adams and Travis Wilson also had TD's. Trevor Hauk and Matt Huntley
each had 2 ints.
The Caldwell-Stafford connection came through 3 times for TDs. Dennis
Dickson caught his first TD
of the season.
X-Men 27
Podium Sports Cowboys 0
The X-Men
welcomed back their QB and beat up on the injury riddled Cowboys 27-0.
Scott Kendall threw 4 tds,
including 2 to Casey Paul, 1 to Cody Paul and one to
Mike Lasalle. Lasalle
also had 3 ints. The Cowboys lone stat was
an interception by Micah Baerwold.
The Cowboys moved the ball well but couldn't capitalize on scoring
chances.
Dutchmen35
The New Toolmen 16
Dutchmentook control early and cruised to the 35-16 win
over the Toolmen. Rob Fullarton
scored 2 highlight TD's
and also picked off the first pass of the game
for a pick 6. Joe David and Colin Publow also
had tds in the win.
Craig Ellis was
the top recevier for the Toolmen
despite playing for the Dutchmen, with 3 ints.
Rick Carriere and
spare Brad Speck threw for the Toolmen.
Speck connected with Cory Jones and Dan Belisle
for the scores.

The young
Gunners beat the Ravens 13-7. Steve Craig-Pettem
threw scores to Matt Pettem and Brad Speck (spare).
The Gunners
picked off the Ravens 3 times. Tyler Bennett had the lone score for the
Ravens.
Crusaders 31 Wolseley Packers

Mark Reilly
made sure the Crusaders losing streak stayed at 1 with a big win over the up
and coming Packers. Reills
connected with Scott Moore twice and Orlando Spicer.
Moore and Scott Bennett each had pick 6's. Rookie
Brandon Aiello
got his second TD of the year from Leigh Howard, who missed his favourite target Labett this
week.
Sam Moyse had 2 sacks.
Bobcats 32
Keystorm Irish 26
The first place
Bobcats continued the great season beating the Irish 32-26. Matt McNish continued his MVP push
throwing 5 TDs. Tim Hatfield and Jeff Severson
had 2 each. Ty McNish had his 7th TD of the
season as well.
The Irish
welcomed back Kevin Perkins to the QB position and he delivered 4 TDs, 3 to
Tyler Clemow.
Cody The Beard Smith had one.

Wolseley Mother Packers 21 Whistlin'
Mothers 6
The battle of the Mother's moniker seems to have been
settled on the field on the sloppy fields of Brockville.
The Mother Packers came out on top with a 21-6 victory. Leigh Howard and
Simon Labett have developed a rare
chemistry only seen in the
likes of Manning/Wayne, Brady/Welker. Labett has his
3rd straight multi TD game
with 2 more. Noel
Gottfried clinched the victory in the closing minutes with a pick 6. Rob Moyser had 3 sacks,
Gottfried and spare Luke Mepps had 2 ints each. For the Whistlers', Trevor Hauk led them with 2
sacks on D.
Wade Zanchetta caught a TD from Steve Foley.
Dutchmen20 X-Men 0
The 72' Dolpins and the 11
Gabriel Pizza can now pop the champagne as Dutchmentook
care of the leagues last
undfeated team, beating the X-Men 20-0. Rob Fullarton
led the assault with 3 TDs, including 2 on deep bombs
from Luke Meppelder. Fullarton also had 2
picks on D. Joe David had 2 picks, and Jason Perkins had 3 sacks on
the QB tandem the XMen put out in place of injured Scott Kendall. The Xmen struggled to find the touch on offence.
Kyle Stevenson had an INT for the neon.
Toolmen 37
Gabriel Pizza 15
In a rain shortened 3 quarter game, the Toolmen came away with another dominating performance. The
D is the
key as they picked off
Chris Michel 7 times. Scott Tedford and Tim Millar
had 3 each, and Ryan Koolen took one to
the house for a pick
6. Koolen had a great game throwing, connecting twice
with Tim Millar and Corey Jones.
Steve Castle had the other td for Toolmen.
Steve White returned a int about 100 yards for a
touchdown, and
threw another from a
halfback toss to Ryan Billings. Shane Belanger got to the Toolmen
QB 3 times.
Ravens 14 1000 Island Pizza 12
The guys from 1000 I. P. flirted with victory, leading
the game most of the way, but failed to hold off the young
gunners as the Ravens won
14-12. Tim Caldwell threw to Brooks Hoare and Mike Stafford. The Ravens won
with
TD catches from Jordan Flood and Jeff McNish.
Matt Walker had the difference in points as he kicked a single and
ran a convert in for
1. Ageless Drew McKibbon had 2 more sacks to add to
his top 5 sack total.
Gunners 15 Cowboys 6
Injuries played a key role in the Gunners 15-6 win over the free falling
Cowboys. Without star QB Tom Tobin,
the Cowboys couldn't
overcome the youth and speed of the Gunners. Steve Craig-Pettem
thew scores to
Brian Hewitt and Brad Craig-Pettem. BCP also had 2 ints. SCP kicked a single, ran
one in and also grabbed an INT.
The Cowboys got a TD catch from Tom Lynch who also had an INT. Matt Wing
grabbed a pair of interceptions.
Cowboys were without league age leaders Tom Tobin, Dave Bolger and Tim
Wilson.

Nittany Lions 6
The Irish won again. Mike Landon threw 3 TD's on the day. TD's went to Tyler Clemo (2), Mike Cameron and
Josh Kirkland. Cheese also cut the D with 2 ints,
Kevin Perkins had 1. Tyler Stevenson had 2 sacks. The Lions
continued to struggle
putting up points. Matt Tobin had a TD pass to Captain Shane Granger. Bishop
Flood had 3 sacks.
Bobcats 14 Crusaders 13
The Bobcats held off the late charge of the Crusaders and stopped a two point
conversion to seal the win.
Matt McNish continued to play ball control
hitting Ty McNish twice and again on a convert. Matt
kicked a single
for the 5th straight
game, which turned out to be the difference. Jamie Clarke made an outstanding
play on a
pass attempt to win
the game, knocking it away from Kevin Harper. Harp and Noopi
each caught TD's from Mark Reilly.
Week #4 Sept 29 2013
Week 4 in the
BMTFL saw some undefeated teams see defeat for the first time.
Crusaders 39 Ravens 6
The Ravens were
beaten up by the Crusaders 39-6. Reills once
again led the charge throwing 5 td's and scoring
one off a Noopi D.
lateral. Scott Moore returned and caught 2 passes. Kevin Harper
caught a TD, and INT and
then threw one as well in mop up duty.
Devin Van Bitterswyk continued his fine season
hauling in his 4th TD of
the season from Matt Walker.
New Toolmen 26 Podium Sports Cowboys 6
The Toolmen continued their stout play on defense in handing
the high scoring Podium Sports Cowboys their
first loss, 26-6. Cory Jones continues to
lead the league in points gathering his 5th TD and 2 sacks. Tim Millar
had 2 TD catches and Scott Tedford
one, all from Ryan Koolen. The Cowboys couldn't
cash in two close goalline
opportunities. They scored their lone TD on a pass from Tim "former Toolman" Wilson at the end of the
4th quarter on a beauty catch by Matt Wing.
X-men 19
Keystorm Irish 16
The X-men
remain the only undefeated team in the league after their 19-16 win over the Keystorm Irish.
Kevin Wylemans came in to throw for Scott Kendall this week and
didn't disappoint. Kyle Stevenson,
Casey Paul and
Sean Woods all caught scores. Mike Landon threw TD's to Unit and Cheese.
Cody the beard
Smith had 3 sacks and a safety for the Irish.
Dutchmen13
Nittany Lions 1
Dutchmenplayed some great D and beat the Nittany Lions 13-1. Luke Meppelder
thew scores to Rob Fullarton
and Mike Raycroft.
Jason Perkins had 3 sacks. Meppelder also
had 2 ints on D. The Lions played stout defence
picking up 4 ints
including 2 by long lost Matt Tobin. Josh Parsons kicked a single for the
lone point.

game saw the Bobcats outscore the Wolseley Packers
34-28. Matt McNish threw a perfect game
with 5 tds. Shane

had 3 tds from Leigh Howard in his second game of the

The Gunners won
their first of the season beating another winless team, 1000 Islands Pizza,
27-14.
Steve Craig-Pettem ran the show, picking up 2 rushing TD's, and
throwing 2 to Brad Craig Pettem and spare
Cody Smith For 1000 Islands Pizza, Brooks Hoare returned a
kick for a touchdown and Tim Caldwell threw a
pass to Mike Stafford for their other. Eric
Knapp remained the story for Pizza with his 9th sack of the season.
Whistlin’ Mothers 33 Gabriel Pizza 0
The Whistlin' Mothers had a near full complement of players for
the first time of the season and won easily 33-0
over Gabriel Pizza. Things started badly
for Gabriel as Will Clarke picked off a pass and returned it for a TD early
in the game. Wade Zanchetta
also had a pick 6. Steve Foley had td passes to
Spencer Alguire (2) and Will Clarke.
Chris Michel
struggled to find his receivers throwing 4 ints for
Gabriel.

New Toolmen

Lions 0
A very shorthanded Toolmen overcame a rough
start and defeated the Nittany Lions 20-0. Cory Jones
continued
his scoring rampage
with a pick six. Ryan Koolen also hit steve castle and Colin jardine. Scott Tedford had 2
picks in
the win. Bishop Flood
had 2 sacks for the Lions.The Xmen
went to 3-0 withal 15-0 win over 1000 Islands Pizza.
Casey Paul had a pick 6 and Kevin Wylemans
threw a td to Scott Kendall.
Podium Cowboys 39 Dutchmen13
The podium cowboys won big 39-13 over the Dutchmen. Tom Tobin threw 5
scores on the day. Scott Maycock had
2 to go with an int. Tom Lynch had a terrible and a pick 6. Colin published
hit rob fullarton and Jason Perkins in the
loss.The Whistling Mothers knocked off Crusaders 13-7. Steve Foley hit Will
Clarke twice and Trent Adams added
3 sacks. Mike OReilly had the lone score for the Crusaders.
Keystorm Irish 19 Gabriel Pizza 6
The Keystone Irish won their first game of the season 19-6 over Gabriel
Pizza. Kevin Perkins threw tds to Tyler Clemo,
Shane curless and Cody
Smith. Chris Michel hit Jason Link for the pizza factory.
Matt mcnish hit Ty McNish
and
Pete Atkinson in the Bobcats 12-6 win over the
winless Gunners. Steve Craig Pettem and Brandon Stone
connected.
Ravens 32 Wolseley Packers

The big game featuring 2-0 teams ended with the Ravens winning big over
the Wolseley Packers 32-13.
Young Matt Sky Walker had a good throwing day. Jordan Flood, Devin Van Bitterswyk, mark maclean and
Tyler Bennett
all caught passes for
scores. Bennett also returned the first pass of the day from the Packers for a
td. Sack machine
Drew McKibbon had 4 sacks. Simon Labbett caught his first td in his first game.
Week #2 Sept 15 2013:
Wolseley Packers 25 Gunners 20
Packers go to 2-0 with a 25-20 win over Gunners. Leigh Howard threw 4 tds, 2 to Justin Caron. Caron also had a big
interception. Gunners qb Steve Craig-Pettem threw 2 and had a spectacular 60 yard run for a td.
Crusaders 28 The New Toolmen 14
The Crusaders stayed undefeated with a 28-14 win over the Toolmen. Mark Reilly led the undermanned and injury
prone Crusaders with a
TD run, and 2 tosses. Mark Henry caught 2. Toolmen
rookie Ryan Koolen had a rough start to
his BMTFL career but
did manage to hit Cory Jones twice for tds.
The Xmen
22 Gabriel Pizza 6
The Xmen went 2-0 with a 22-6 win over Gabriel
Pizza. Scott Kendall threw 3 scores and had 2 ints.
Cowboys 12 Nittany Lions 6
Cowboys won their second beating the Nittany
Lions 12-6 in a defensive chess game. Tom Tobin hit Tom Lynch late in
the game for the
winning score. Adam McNish also caugt a TD. Josh Parsons had his first game at QB
and struggled
getting sacked 8 times, 5
by Tom Lynch and 3 from Scott Maycock. Aaron Graham
had their lone TD.

Crusaders were led by Mark Reilly throwing 6 tds and spreading them around to 5 different players. Kevin
Harper had 2,
Scott Moore, Scott Bennett, Noopi Dhaliwal and Mike O'Reilly
caught the TD. Mike Stafford was on the receiving end
from Tim Caldwell for the 1000 Islands Pizza
team. Make the final, 40-6.
The New Toolmen 34 Keystorm 0
CalBrock Game 2 saw a shorthanded New Toolmen defeat the Keystorm Irish
in a rout, 34-0. Toolmen were sharp on
defensive with 3 defensive TD's, one by Cory Jones,
one by Tim Millar and another from Millar off a lateral following a
Colin Jardine INT
(2 on the game). Rick Carriere had 2 TD tosses, one
to Millar and one to Jardine....
Ravens 13
Bobcats 7
In the battle of the of
the former Bobcats. Matt Walker had a TD run and a toss to Devin Van Bitterswyck. Matt McNish
connected with Tim Hatfield in the loss.
X Men 12 Nittany Lions 7
The Xmen beat the
Loan Grangers (Nittany Lions) 12-7. Scott Kendall
threw to Andrew Latimer and Ryan Lasalle.
Matt Tobin connected with Loan Duong for the
lone NL points

The Woseley Packers
started off on the right foot with a 20-14 win over the Dutchmen. The Pack were
led by
Leigh Howard as he threw TD's to Rob and Sam Moyser and to Shawn Lamont. Luke Meppelder
had TD throws to
Dustin Payne and Jason
Perkins.
Whistlin’ Mothers 16 Gunners 9
The new verison of
the Whistlin' Mothers beat the Gunners 16-9. Steve
Foley threw one to Will Clarke and ran in the
winning TD late in the game. The Gunners had a running
TD from Steve Craig-Pettem.

Gabriel Pizza 7
The Cowboys came back to the league with a
commanding 27-7 win over Gabriel Pizza 2.0. Tom Tobin threw td's
to
Michal Baerwold
(2), Scott Maycock and Matt Wing. Chris Michel connected with Ryan Mcfadden.
