Home Coming Charity BBQ had amazing Weather. Maybe too hot! Thank you to all that donated. And this year much of the food was donated by Real Canadian Superstore, M&Ms, Janet White, owner of Ewyn Studios and our own Pierce Lapansee. Mike Harper also donated his BBQ. Thanks to all of them and all our great players, we raised almost 800$ so far. Will get the drone videos uploaded next week and the pictures posted soon.
The Sharks had a big game winning 27-0 at Commonwealth vs Pastime Peelers. Sharks TDs by Jones x 2, MacMillan and Pilla. Peelers did pull in two INTs in the loss.
Late game at Commonwealth had Gabriel Pizza winning over Dutchmen with a score of 33-13. Gabriel spread out the TDs to Sam Moyse, White, Fullerton, drury and Bedard. Whew! Dutchmen Had Points from Casey Paul and Fenlong.
Early game at TISS had a great game 18-6 for Slumdog Slingers over 1000 Islands Brewmen. Brewmen’s Bertrend pulled in a TD while Slumdog’s Hache got 2 and Cameron 1 TD.
The game I think everyone wanted to see was the Whist’lin Mothers vs McArthur’s Barbershop. The Barbershop team was running with 2 spares and missing their first string QB. Mother’s win 36-0 with TDs from D VanB twice, Jelly, Evans and White.
Leatherheads pulled off a win vs McNish Team. Posted score says 31-12. Leatherheads Wilson had 2 TDs with Beaudin also with two. Zanchetta intercepted and ran the final 6 points in to finish the game. McNish Team had a TD from Clark and one from the other Jelly!
Final game had a score of 25-8 with Miracle Maids winning over Marauders. McLean, Walker, LaSalle and Carbonneau all had TDs for the Maids. And for Marauders, Logan Watt-Davison pulled in all 8 pts! As a sub!
