Weather was hot on Sunday.  At Commonwealth, Gabriel Pizza remains 5-0 to lead the Smith-Baker Conference.  Gabs won over Pastime Peelers with a score of 20-14.  Second game had Team McNish squeaking out a win against Miracle Maids. 14-13 McNish for their first win of the season.  Last game at Commonwealth had another close game.  Slumdog Slingers win by 1 point over McArthur’s Barbershop. Slumdogs stay in second place in the Smith-Baker conference.  The games at TISS were exciting.  The Sharks won big over Leatherheads 27-7.  Leatherheads missing their starting QB and putting in the Rookie QB Wade Z.  This keeps The Sharks as undefeated and leading the Hoy-Hone conference.  The Whist’lin Mothers are climbing the conference from the bottom.  A win over the struggling Marauders, missing their 1st, 2nd and third string QB and put receiver Ryan Harper in as QB.  A good effort but a loss for the Marauders.  25-0 loss for the Marauders to be in a tie at the bottom of the conference…..for now!  Final game at TISS was 25-6 for the Dutchmen over the 1000 Islands Brewmen.  Dutchmen stay ahead of Brewmen with that win to be middle of the conference……for now!  Two more weeks of the regular season.
